About estimates
Is the estimate a final price?
No. It is a guide based on your answers. After a short call we send a fixed written quote, which is usually close to the estimate unless the scope changes.
What happens to the competitor quote I upload?
It is read inside your browser to find the total. It only reaches us if you send your request, and then it is attached to the email so we can check it covers the same work. It is not stored on our web server.
Why is my estimate not 20–25% lower than the quote?
We aim for 20–25% below a comparable quote, but never below our minimum for the scope you chose. If the quote is already low, we show our minimum instead.
Do prices include GST?
No. All prices exclude GST, which is added to the invoice where it applies.
