Questions about cloud and server setup
Are hosting and email licence fees included?
No. Hosting, domain, cloud and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 fees are billed by the provider to you directly. Our price covers the setup work, and we recommend plans that fit your budget.
Will my website go down during the move?
We keep downtime as short as possible by setting up and testing everything on the new server first, then switching over at a quiet time. We tell you the plan and the timing before we start.
Whose name are the accounts in?
Yours. Cloud, hosting, domain and email accounts are created in your business name with you as the owner. We use our own separate access, which you can remove at any time.
Will you look after the server after setup?
Setup is a one-time job. If you want us to keep the server updated, monitored and backed up every month, add our server management service.
Which provider do you recommend?
It depends on what you are running. Good managed hosting is enough for most business websites. Apps usually suit AWS, Google Cloud or DigitalOcean. All of these have data centres in India, which keeps things fast for Indian visitors.
